12月に入り、かなり寒くなりましたね。九州の熊本は11月までかなり暖かく、冬物の動きが鈍く、かなり心配していましたが、ようやく冬の訪れを感じるようになるとともにニットの動きが益々激しくなってきました。
本日は、ニット界の重鎮が手掛けるブランド、Slopeslowを紹介致します。

It’s gotten quite chilly now that December has arrived. Kumamoto in Kyushu was quite warm until November, so sales of winter clothes were slow, which worried me quite a bit. However, as we finally feel the approach of winter, knitwear sales have become even more intense.

Slopeslow(スロープスロウ)/ “Yoke Top Crew Neck Sweater” yak/lambs multi HAND KNITTING
ヤクと上質なラムウールを使用し、手編みで仕上げたこちらのニット。
何色もの糸をミックスしたオリジナルの糸で、奥行きのある色味を表現しています。
今回はこちらのCAMOが入荷しております。
ミリタリーの男らしさもありつつ、上品に編み立てられたニットは、程よくバランスの取れた仕上がりです。
日本国内にて一枚一枚丁寧に手編みで製作されており、がっしりとした質感はかなり度目を詰めて編んでいる証拠です。
これだけしっかりと編んであるため、自重でもヨレず、立体的なシルエットがとても綺麗で、着ると重さを感じません。
求心編みという技法で編んでおり、ハギが無いため着心地も抜群に良いです。
今後このレベルのものをいつまで作り続けていけるかもわからないため、物があるうちにぜひご検討下さい。
This knit is hand-knitted using yak and high-quality lambswool.

Each piece is carefully hand-knitted in Japan, and its sturdy texture is evidence of the tightly knitted stitches.
Because it is so tightly knit, it won’t wrinkle even under its own weight, has a beautiful three-dimensional silhouette, and doesn’t feel heavy when worn.
It is knitted using a technique called centripetal knitting, and there are no seams, making it extremely comfortable to wear.
