本日は昨日のCCUから入荷致しましたアイテムの紹介します。
アメリカンクラシックウェアの象徴であるチマヨベストを、上質なレザーで表現しました。 従来のデザインを大切にしつつ、実用的なポケットを追加。さらに、全体的に丸みを持たせたデザインにすることで、どんなスタイルにも自然に馴染むよう仕上げています。タフでありながら洗練された、新しいチマヨベストです。
SHEEP SUEDE ABOUT LEATHER: この英国製シープレザーは、わずか0.6mmまで薄くすくことで、非常に柔らかなタッチ感を実現しています。 さらに、表面には起毛加工を施すことで、よりしなやかな落ち感が生まれ、使い込むほどに味わい深い表情へと変化するよう仕上げました。
ABOUT THE DESIGN:
We’ve reinterpreted the iconic Chimayo Vest, a symbol of American classic workwear, using premium leather. While honoring the traditional design, we’ve added practical pockets and incorporated a rounded silhouette throughout. This ensures the vest seamlessly integrates into any style, offering a new take on the Chimayo that’s both tough and refined.
SHEEP SUEDE ABOUT LEATHER:
This British sheep leather is shaved to an incredibly thin 0.6mm, achieving an exceptionally soft touch. Additionally, its surface is brushed to create a more supple drape and to develop a rich, expressive character that deepens beautifully with use.
ポケットはサイドからもインできる仕様になります。従来、チマヨベストはポケットが無い仕様の物も存在しますが、ポケット付きはありがたい！！
The pockets can be tucked in from the side. Traditionally, Chimayo vests have no pockets, so it’s nice to have one with pockets!

We’ve updated CCU’s signature newspaper bag for even greater usability. While keeping its classic design intact, we focused on enhancing functionality to meet today’s needs. We’ve added an adjustable shoulder strap and a convenient front pocket. The main compartment now features a zipper closure, improving both security and ease of use. Plus, with three available sizes, this bag is now ready for a wide range of situations, from daily commutes to various other activities. It’s an evolved newspaper bag that beautifully blends traditional style with modern practicality.
アニリン仕上げのカウレザーを使用して、カバンの形がきちんと出るように適切な厚さの革を選びました。重量は軽く仕上げましたが、その中でもカバンがしっかりとしたフォルムを保ちます。革本来の自然な風合いが特徴で、使用するたびに柔らかく経年変化していくのが魅力です。
We selected leather with an appropriate thickness to ensure the bag maintains its shape, using aniline-finished cowhide. While the weight is kept light, the bag retains a sturdy form. The leather features a natural texture, and its appeal lies in the fact that it softens and ages beautifully with each use.
