まずBOW WOWのブランド印象としては、サブカルチャーが詰まった本格アメカジブランドとして非常に高評価をしています。自分自身のライフ生活に深く通じる部分があります。

BOWWOW(バウワウ) / S.BRONX CO. JAIL SHIRT AGED -L.BLUE-

架空のJAIL「S.BRONX CO JAIL」の囚人服をイメージし、1960年代のリアルなプリズナーシャツの佇まいを背景に構成している。施設内での使用を前提とした簡素で無機質な表情を、そのまま写し取る感覚で仕上げている。囚人シャツは役目を終えると破棄されることが多く、ヴィンテージ市場でも発見されにくい存在。残っている個体は状態や雰囲気に優れたものが多く、評価も高い。そうした希少性と空気感を踏まえ、加工によって実際に使い込まれてきたかのようなリアリティを持たせている。

Inspired by the prison uniforms of the fictional jail “S. BRONX CO JAIL,” the design is based on the realistic appearance of a 1960s prisoner shirt. The simple, inorganic look of a shirt intended for use within a prison is faithfully reproduced. Prisoner shirts are often discarded after their purpose is served, making them rare to find in the vintage market. The remaining examples are often in excellent condition and have a great atmosphere, making them highly valued. Taking this rarity and atmosphere into account, the design has been processed to give it a realistic appearance as if it had actually been well-worn.

プリントがやれた感じの雰囲気も最高にカッコイイ！！古着屋に置いてあったプリズナーシリーズを思い出す。雰囲気作りも他のブランドには負けないセンスと知識があります。

The worn-out look of the print is incredibly cool!! It reminds me of the Prisoner series I found in a vintage clothing store. They have a sense of style and knowledge that surpasses other brands when it comes to creating atmosphere.

ベトナム戦争期、現地で兵士自身が刺繍を入れたスーベニアジャケットの空気感を、そのままTシャツに落とし込んだデザイン。基地の外でオーダーし、任務の合間に受け取って着ていた私物の延長線をイメージしている。ラフで歪みのある刺繍表現には、記念や誇りだけでなく、不安や皮肉といった感情の揺れも含ませ、戦地で生まれたスーベニアならではの生々しさを残している。ボディには80年代のレーヨン混Tシャツの空気感を意識した丸胴仕様を採用し、刺繍の持つ荒さと、着心地の良さが共存するバランスに仕上げている。

This design captures the atmosphere of souvenir jackets that were embroidered by soldiers themselves during the Vietnam War, and has been translated into a T-shirt. I imagine it as an extension of personal items that were ordered outside the base, received and worn between missions. The rough and distorted embroidery expresses not only commemoration and pride, but also the fluctuation of emotions such as anxiety and irony, retaining the vividness that is unique to souvenirs born on the battlefield. The body has a round body design that evokes the atmosphere of rayon blend T-shirts from the 1980s, creating a balance between the roughness of the embroidery and comfort.
