またリバー仕立ては職人の腕の見せ所でもあり、縫製が出来るところに限りもあります。
簡単に説明すると、ダブルフェイスとリバー仕立ての違いは二枚の生地を重ね合わせるまでは一緒ですが、重ね合わせた部分の縫い跡（ステッチ）が見えるか見えないかの違いになります。

River tailoring is also a place for craftsmen to show off their skills, and there are limits to what can be sewn.
To put it simply, the difference between double face and river tailoring is that the two pieces of fabric are the same until they are overlapped, but the difference is whether or not you can see the stitches where they overlap.

ウールカシミヤハードメルトンを使用したリバー縫製のダブルブレストオーバーコート。
これほど肉厚なメルトン地を、贅沢にも「リバー縫製(2枚の生地を1枚に縫い合わせる手法)」で仕立てています。
裏地を省くことで、コート全体の重量を劇的に軽減し、身体を優しく包み込むようなソフトな着用感。一般的なメルトンよりも芯のある質感で、襟の立ち上がりやフォルムが崩れにくく、袖を通した瞬間に仕立ての良さを感じさせる重厚な表情を持っています。クラシックなダブルブレストをベースにしつつ、ボタンの配置やラペルの幅を現代的にアップデート。
ゆったりとした身幅から裾に向かって優雅に流れるオーバーサイズシルエットが、圧倒的な存在感を放ちます。
ウールカシミヤを使用したハードメルトン。
カシミヤ混の高級原料を使用しつつ、高密度に打ち込み「ハードメルトン」へと仕上げました。
カシミヤ特有のぬめり感と光沢を保持しながらも、構築的なシルエットを維持するタフなハリ感を共存させています。
整理加工段階では起毛工程を一切入れず縮絨加工のみで圧縮させたメルトンとなります。起毛を入れない工程は経年劣化しずらく現状の風合が保たれる為 加工工程にとことん拘った素材となります。

Despite the substantial thickness of the melton, it is luxuriously tailored using this specialized double-faced construction method.
By omitting a lining, the overall weight is dramatically reduced, offering a soft, gentle fit that envelops the body. The fabric possesses more structural integrity than standard melton, ensuring the collar stands firmly and the silhouette holds its shape; it exudes a commanding presence that instantly conveys the quality of its tailoring. While based on a classic double-breasted design, the button placement and lapel width have been updated for a contemporary look.
The oversized silhouette—featuring a generous body width that flows gracefully toward the hem—creates an overwhelming sense of presence.
Hard melton fabric made from wool and cashmere.
Crafted from high-quality wool-cashmere blends, the fabric is woven at high density to achieve a “hard melton” finish.
It successfully combines the signature soft, smooth hand-feel and luster of cashmere with the tough, resilient stiffness needed to maintain a structured silhouette.
During the finishing process, the fabric is compressed solely through fulling (felting) without any napping or brushing. By avoiding the napping process, the fabric is less prone to aging and retains its original texture over time, reflecting a meticulous commitment to the manufacturing process.
