AUBERGE定番のサックコート、アジェの原型を使いながら、今回はダブルプレストにアレンジ。フロントに分量が入るとボタンを閉めずにきた時のグラマラスなボリュームをお楽しみいただけます。アジェは元々太めの袖が設定されているのでこのハードなコーデュロイ素材でも肩が凝ることなくご着用いただけます。
中白製品染めという特殊な製品染めの後にストーンウォッシュ加工もしており、抜群の雰囲気に仕上がっています。
同素材の PANTIN #AU26A14 とセットアップで着用可能です。
This piece reimagines AUBERGE’s signature “Ajé” sack coat as a double-breasted style. The added volume at the front creates a glamorous, voluminous silhouette when worn open. Since the Ajé is designed with generously cut sleeves, the coat remains comfortable to wear without straining the shoulders, even when crafted from this substantial corduroy fabric.
It undergoes a special “core-dyeing” (or “white-core”) garment-dyeing process followed by a stone wash, resulting in an exceptional, character-rich finish.
It can be worn as a matching set with the “PANTIN” (#AU26A14) in the same fabric.

日本製コーデュロイは浜松界隈で生産されてきた生地ですが、表面の毛をカットする工場の廃業が相次ぎ、産業として限界が近い状況となっている折、このような高密度のヨーロッパビンテージと遜色のない雰囲気を醸すコーデュロイが作れる現場は日本では超貴重だ。どうしてもキッズやレディス需要もあるのでこのジャーマン級の密度は長年の関係がないと作れないものとなってきております。

Champagne Gold Mohair(数量限定)
南アフリカ産、稀少な天然色シャンパンゴールドの無染色モヘアを独自に紡績して使用。原毛由来の天然色であるためロットごとに濃淡差・個体差があり、染色では得られない 自然な色の揺らぎが特徴です。繊度は 34/36μで太番手ならではのハリ感と強い反撥性を備えた独自の質感です。
今回はチマヨベストに使用されるネイティブラグをターゲットに 経糸にはこちらも未染色の太番手のリネンの糸を使用。緯糸には上記モヘア・アルパカの糸を6本撚りにした糸を使用。この糸の間にウールの糸(こちらも未染色)を挟み込むことで、物性的な安定と密度感を高めています。実際の目付はかなり重い生地ですがその独特な風合いとハリによって体感ではそこまでの重さを感じず、たとえようのない独自の質感に仕上がっています。
Black Alpaca
アンデス山脈の高地で厳しい自然環境のなか育ったアルパカの毛を原料に使用。アルパカは抜群の保湿力を持ち自然な光沢と独特のヌメリがあります。こちらも染色を一切行わず黒い天然色のアルパカの原毛をそのまま糸にして使用しているため、自然な色の濃淡があり奥行きのある色目になっています。

Champagne Gold Mohair (Limited Quantity)
This fabric uses a custom-spun, undyed mohair in a rare, naturally occurring “champagne gold” shade, sourced from South Africa. Because the color is derived directly from the raw fiber, there are subtle variations in tone and character between different production lots—a natural, nuanced color variation that cannot be replicated through artificial dyeing. With a fiber fineness of 34–36 microns, the material possesses a distinct texture characterized by the firm, resilient quality typical of a heavy-gauge yarn.
Inspired by the native-style rugs used for Chimayo vests, the fabric features an undyed, heavy-gauge linen warp. The weft consists of a six-ply yarn made from the aforementioned mohair and alpaca fibers. By incorporating an undyed wool yarn between these strands, we have enhanced both the structural stability and the density of the fabric. Although the actual weight is quite substantial, the unique texture and inherent firmness ensure it does not feel heavy when worn, resulting in a one-of-a-kind, indescribable tactile quality.

This material is crafted from the fleece of alpacas raised in the harsh, high-altitude environment of the Andes Mountains. Alpaca fiber is prized for its exceptional heat retention, natural luster, and a distinctive, smooth, “slippery” hand-feel. As with the mohair, no dyes are used; the natural black raw alpaca fiber is spun directly into yarn, creating a rich, multi-dimensional color with subtle, natural tonal variations.

今期、誰が言い出したかは定かではありませんが、オルテガ、チマヨJK、ベストがトレンドだそうで、それならば渾身のモヘア&ブラックアルパカでネイティブイメージのオリジナルテキスタイルを作りました。しかし、このチマヨ、オルテガJKのビンテージはとてつもなく着にくい。そもそもファッションや型紙状の着やすさなど無縁のお土産工芸品なので、今回は全くオリジナルに学ばず現世代的なサイズバランスを保つオルテガフィールのJKに仕上げました。落ちる肩幅、高すぎない袖山がポイント。一部ポケットにはUKワークのディテールを盛り込みました。
I’m not sure who started it, but it seems that Ortega-style and Chimayo-style jackets and vests are trending this season. In response, I’ve created an original textile with a “Native American” aesthetic, crafted from a premium blend of mohair and black alpaca. The thing is, authentic vintage Chimayo and Ortega jackets are notoriously difficult to wear—they were originally produced as souvenir handicrafts, with no real consideration for fashion or ergonomic pattern-making. For this reason, I’ve steered clear of replicating the originals, opting instead for a contemporary fit and silhouette that captures that distinct Ortega vibe. Key features include a dropped shoulder line and a sleeve head designed with a more moderate, comfortable height. I’ve also incorporated details inspired by vintage British workwear into some of the pockets.
